Communications Ltd. began in August 2002 by producing customized corporate profiles.
A short time later, they added the development of two trade publications: Simply
Gourmet - California Style and CANADIAN FOODSAFETY
MANAGEMENT, both geared toward a Canadian targeted audience.
Over
the course of creating promotional programs for these magazines, KlasAct Communications
president, Shirley McClune, has initiated contact with television producers and
media personalities, food safety professionals, renowned chefs and noted associates
within the growing culinary tourism field.
KlasAct also works with selected
celebrity charity events, recruiting sponsors and developing media attention to
increase end-result revenues and awareness of the charity.
With the continued
growth of KlasAct Communications, a production team has been co-ordinated to include
a professional graphic designer and project manager, established writers and editors,
and sales experts for advertisements and advertorials.
Future projects
for KlasAct include expansion of the two current magazines, continuation of corporate
profile production and special events within related industries that will entertain
and inform. Opportunities for diversification of current projects have already
begun, which will see expansion of topics, increased readership and distribution
and exciting events that will take on an international flavour.
